1. Seat Types Available

Child safety seats can be arranged on request, subject to availability in the market. Request seats at the time of booking:

  • Infant seats (rear-facing)
  • Convertible seats (rear-facing or forward-facing)
  • Booster seats

2. Information Required at Booking

So the right seat and installation plan are prepared, provide the child's age, weight, and height, along with your preferred configuration (rear-facing, forward-facing, or booster). Requesting seats in advance is important — they cannot be guaranteed on short notice.

3. Compliance With Child Passenger Safety Laws

Child restraint requirements vary by state, province, and municipality. The independent operators who perform service follow the child passenger safety laws that apply where the ride takes place, along with the height and weight limits set by each seat's manufacturer. If you are unsure what applies to your itinerary, the concierge can confirm before the ride.

4. Installation & Responsibility

Child seats are installed and used according to the manufacturer's instructions. The parent or guardian is responsible for confirming that the child is properly secured before travel begins. If you bring your own seat, it must be in good condition and appropriate for the child; the chauffeur can assist with placement, but the guardian remains responsible for final fit and securement.

5. Safety & Refusal of Service

If a child cannot be safely restrained, the chauffeur may delay or decline the ride until the child can be properly secured. This protects the child and follows applicable safety requirements.
