Private car service

Taxi

A taxi is a straightforward direct option from LaGuardia, but it is not a flat-fare route. TLC says LGA trips use the standard metered fare plus a $5 LaGuardia surcharge and other applicable surcharges, tolls, and tips. Taxi is often practical when the queue is moving and the traveler does not need a pre-confirmed vehicle class.

Q70 + subway / LIRR

The Q70 is the main public-transit connector from LGA Terminals B and C. MTA says the Q70 is free, runs nonstop to Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Av / 74 St-Broadway, and typically takes about 15 minutes in traffic. From there, riders can connect to subway lines; riders can also continue to Woodside for Long Island Rail Road connections.

M60-SBS

The M60-SBS is useful when the destination is Upper Manhattan or when connecting along 125th Street. It is less useful for a traveler headed to a Midtown hotel, downtown meeting, or building with luggage unless the bus route aligns directly with the final destination.
